Weddings on Herm Island

Herm Island - A perfect wedding destination and venue

Without doubt, Herm Island is the most beautiful location for a wedding reception in the Channel Islands! The Island lends itself beautifully to ensuring that the Bride and Groom, their families and friends have the most wonderful memories of the magical day.

St Tugual's Chapel
The chapel of St Tugual is situated at the top of the drive, and offers a beautiful 11th century venue for the perfect church wedding. St Tugual's seats up to 50 guests, with the possibility of extra seating under canvas outside the west door. Prior arrangements must be made with the Dean of Guernsey, in order for a marriage to take place in St Tugual's.

The White House Hotel
If you are looking for the perfect venue for a reception, you can choose either the Conservatory Restaurant (120 people) or the Hotel Marquee (150 people). Both venues have fantastic views across the 3 mile stretch of sea towards Guernsey.
Reception drinks are held on the lawn, again with great views.   Photos are taken in the Hotel gardens or even on one of the six beaches.
To round off the day, fireworks can be organised so that your guests can view these from Herm harbour. An amazing way to finish the day, with everyone able to make as many wishes as they want.

It is possible at certain times of the year for the Hotel to be entirely reserved for your wedding reception. The White House Hotel has hosted some outstanding events as a sole use venue, often taking all of the Holiday Cottages as well, thus giving the feel of the whole Island being reserved as a private destination for your friends and family for the weekend.

The White House Hotel gives outstanding service, with care and attention being given to every detail, in order that your special day is exactly the way you would like.
